Pilates is performed in STICKY socks. We recommend sticky socks for hygienic reasons. You should wear comfortable clothing that is not too baggy. This will allow the instructor to see your alignment and to better correct your form.

It is recommended to take Pilates 2-3 times a week to obtain optimal results.

If you have already been doing Pilates prior to pregnancy then yes. Your instructor can modify your movements as you go forward. However, it is not recommended to begin a new exercise program in the first trimester. After the first trimester it is safe and it is a great way to keep you toned and prep for delivery. It is always best to consult with your doctor first. We will require a doctor’s note if you choose to take Pilates.

Building core strength, flexibility and activating your stabilizing muscles is a great way to manage back pain/injuries. Starting with one-on-one sessions is highly recommended to ensure safety and provide appropriate modifications depending on the individuals’ specific issue. It is always best to consult with your doctor first.

Yes! It was founded by Joseph Pilates in the early 1900’s and to this day is a great workout for men!

Yes. Minors ages 13 and up are welcome to take Pilates with a parent or guardian’s permission. Clients under 18 years of age will require a New Client Waiver to be signed by their parent or guardian.
